Mother’s Day Campaigns 2025: The Ads That Felt Real

First held in 1914, Mother’s Day is a sweet holiday that serves as an opportunity to honor mothers and grandmothers by appreciating, spending time, and bonding with them. But today, this holiday became one of the most powerful occasions for storytelling for brands, where they launched campaigns according to seasons.

Mother’s Day Campaigns in 2025 were not about the perfect family anymore, but rather honest emotions. Shifting away from traditional storytelling, the focus was placed on how the reality of being a mother is all about invisible sacrifice, losing your identity, emotional labor, and little things people do not even notice.

Whether it was videos full of tears, fun stories on social media, or fashion, technology, beauty, and lifestyle brands’ creative advertising, there was plenty of meaningful content to get into conversation about. And good Mother’s Day ads promoted such conversations.

Below are some of the most successful campaigns that brands carried out in celebration of Mother’s Day in 2025.

1. Stories That Captured the Heart of Motherhood

Mother’s day gift glow up | Bublywater

This insight became the core message of Bubly’s Mother’s Day campaign. It is well-known that most mothers have problems with appreciation of their deeds and still have to take additional responsibility from time to time. The combination of humorous “mom fails” and rewarding experiences and gifts made this campaign engaging and memorable and helped increase the connection between the brand and its audience.

Gucci Together for Mother’s Day | Gucci

Gucci’s campaign was based on the fact that nowadays customers relate more to meanings than products themselves because luxury marketing needs to evoke emotions. Gucci managed to do it successfully by highlighting relationships and emotions thus making the product placement not intrusive and helping to form brand loyalty and affinity.

Mother’s Day | It’s a Maa Thing | Myntra

The Mother’s Day campaign of Myntra revolved around a relatable family relationship where the mother would keep dropping hints about the actual gifts they want, but the daughter misunderstands them all the time and buys random items that aren’t necessary. It was a humorous campaign that gave Myntra an edge because it positioned itself as the easiest way to get gifts that your mom loves.

Mother’s Day herogiri ft. Satish Ray

The humorous Mother’s Day campaign of Boat involved a teenager who keeps posting Instagram stories yet is careful not to share them with his mom. As the ad progressed, it playfully reminded people that Mother’s Day was coming up soon, adding that instead of being the Instagram hero, one must give their mom something nice and easy.

Vinod Cookware: Mother’s Day

This campaign was based on emotions, using an aspect that many relate to. Regardless of how busy you are or how far away you are, no matter how much you forget to eat in time and do not take care of yourself, your mother continues thinking about you and cares for you. No matter whether she reminds, feeds, and worries about you from any part of the world, she keeps taking care of you all the time

2. Instagram’s Relatable Mother’s Day Campaigns

Cetaphil – “Have a seat, mom.”

This Mother’s Day campaign was launched based on the observation that most mothers hardly ever have time to relax. This insight became the base of the Cetaphil campaign where emotional and creative storytelling was combined with the brand idea.

Prestige X Zepto – #MummyKeTaane #MummyKaPyaar

This humorous campaign highlighted various ‘taane’ which are typical for Indian mothers. The ad used Indian culture in the context of family to show how even complaints and scolding may be motivated by concern, affection, and love.

Biba India – #MakeMomsFeelSeen

The Biba Mother’s Day campaign touched upon a very emotional issue faced by new moms. While attention and presents always go to their babies after birth, mothers themselves remain ignored. The key point of the campaign is that they should be noticed, appreciated, and loved especially at such a period.

Instamart – Add Yourself To Cart

In order to create this humorous and emotional campaign, Instamart used the main principle of its service: being there. Instamart campaigned through the use of the theme that there is nothing better than just being there with your mother on Mother’s Day. Making use of its app, the brand made fun of itself in its marketing campaign by saying, “add yourself to cart and head home to your Mom”.

3. How Bannstudio Brought Mother’s Day Campaigns to Life in 2025

Colour Valley

The “Mom Approved Home” concept was a great marketing campaign idea by Colour Valley that used an emotional motion video to create a sense of association between the brand and home interiors based on the notion that mothers are the essence of warmth, comfort, and approval in any household.

JK Stones

The JK Stones wall stone cladding product brand chose to use mother as the symbol of the foundation of every house. The idea was that mothers play an extremely important role in the family and their presence is always like a rock to which everyone can turn to for help and protection.

Radisson Gwalior

Radisson Gwalior Hotel decided to create a campaign based on an interesting experience. Instead of gifting or giving flowers to your mom, the brand encouraged people to take some quality time with their families and make Mother’s Day a memorable moment for everyone involved.

Prominent Paint

The Prominent Paints’ campaign featured the joy of letting your kids express their love of their mom through painting without any worries because of the brand’s reputation of reliability and product quality. It was a successful campaign as it combined emotions and a sense of security with regards to the brand’s products.
